Our Purpose
The first point of our doctrinal statement (beliefs) reads: “We believe the purpose of the church shall be the evangelization of the lost and the edification of believers…” To evangelize means to proclaim the good news about eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ. To edify means to build up and assist believers in becoming mature in their Christian faith. As believers are properly equipped, they are then able to share in the ministry of the church (Eph. 4:11-16). There are many ways these goals can be accomplished.
Evangelism
We believe and teach that we are called by Jesus Christ to make disciples and spread the Gospel of His grace in both word and action to our homes, community, and to the ends of the earth for the glory of God.

Fellowship
We believe and teach that the body of Christ is commanded to assemble regularly in fellowship to stimulate and encourage one another to love and
good deeds.
Hebrews 10:24-25
Truth
We believe and teach that Scripture is Divine Revelation from God, and that all things must therefore be evaluated by His inspired and inerrant Word, which is the only absolute standard of truth for our daily lives.

(Spiritual) Growth
We believe and teach that the body of Christ has been called to discipleship by modeling His attitude of love and forgiveness to one another so that we might grow together in unity and Christlikeness.

Prayer
We believe and teach that simple, faithful prayer to our Sovereign God—directed by His Spirit and informed by His Word—is foundational to everything we do.
Philippians 4:6-7
Worship
We believe and teach that the body of Christ is called to a life of God-glorifying worship in both spirit and truth, which flows from a proper attitude of the heart.
