Nursery

How Does it Work?

The nursery is available to all kids 0-4 years old following the worship during the service until 12:00 p.m. on Sunday mornings.  There will be a slide up on the front screens to dismiss kids to nursery.  Kids can be dropped off in the nursery room where there will be 3 nursery workers ready to play!  Workers will record the parents' cell phone numbers so they may be reached if their little needs a feeding or is having a tough morning. Unless otherwise advised, children will only be dismissed to their parents at pickup time.

Our nursery workers are seasoned mothers, fathers, grandmas, grandpas, and friends ready to spend time with the littles that may have a hard time sitting still during the church service or Sunday school times.  There will be a nursery-helper "shift change" at 10:30 a.m., where 3 new helpers will come in. Name tags are used to ensure all of the workers know all of the kids. Children are welcome to stay for the entire morning.

Young babies are more than welcome in the nursery, and we are more than happy to change diapers and assist during potty-training if needed.  Parents are also welcome to stay in the nursery with their children.

Nursery activities range from reading books and bible stories, singing, puzzles, mini-lessons, snack time and free play.  Nursery helpers give of their time in hopes that the parents will be able to soak up the Word during the service and enjoy fellowship with other believers during the Sunday School hour.
